Toyomi Dubai Final Solo Exhibition

Hello everyone, this is Toyomi Dubai.
Now that Art Runway has come to an end, I finally feel like I can breathe again.
November was a whirlwind — my solo exhibition and Art Runway NAKANO overlapped, and the days simply flew by.

As things begin to settle, I would like to look back slowly and share some moments from that time.
To begin, here is a short video from my solo exhibition.

From November 10th to 20th, I held a solo show at DEN Gallery in Tokyo.
Being able to fill the entire space with my own works was an experience that felt truly blissful.
Standing in a room surrounded by pieces that were all born from my hands and vision — it was a quiet joy I will never forget.

During the weekends, many visitors came and went, and I had the chance to hear a variety of impressions and questions:

  • “What technique do you use for this?”
  • “Do you know the artist Araki? Do you like his work?”
  • “When is your next exhibition?”

Through my artworks, people became interested in me as a person.
The chance to speak directly with visitors — to exchange words, thoughts, and small sparks of curiosity — is a gift that cannot be replaced.

Some of the works shown in this exhibition will travel with me to Dubai for the upcoming art fair.
As for which pieces I will bring, I’ll share that story another time.
